Alfa PXP forte: Immunity Requires the Right Nutrition.

Research shows that polysaccharide-peptides and proper cellular communication cannot be separated. Alfa PXP forte' contains tens of monosaccharides, including the six essential polysaccharides missing from America's food supply. The polysaccharides in Alfa PXP combine with the  polypeptides (proteins) to provide an environment for cellular communication. The deficiency in the foods we eat causes a failure in cellular communication...this is the very cause of immunity dysfunction, which allows disease to take hold. Supplying your cells with a rich supply of these nutrients can allow your body to REVERSE Immune System Disorders. Below is a list of diseases associated with impaired immunity:

Overactive Immune Disorders:
asthma     eczema     food allergies     urticaria (hives)     eczema     rhinitis
pollen and grass allergies

Auto-Immune Diseases:
lupus     rheumatoid arthritis     psoriasis     multiple sclerosis     scleroderma       diabetes, type 1

Inflammatory Disorders:
fibromyalgia     Crohn's disease     celiac disease     irritable bowel syndrome ulcerative colitis

Underactive Immune Disorders:
hepatitis B and C     HIV     shingles     herpes simplex 1 and 2     tuberculosis       sinusitis     colds and flu     chronic fatigue syndrome     viral and bacterial infections

Other:
stress-related disorders     cancer     diabetes, type 2     benign prostatic hyperplasia

Immunity

It is well known that the Immune System fights off infections, colds and flu and protects us from diseases. However, often our immune systems malfunction. Doctors treat the symptoms of disease with pharmaceutical drugs or over the counter remedies, but rarely, if ever, address strengthening the immune system itself.

Every day, our bodies are invaded by bacteria, viruses, parasites and toxins. The immune system is desined to come to the rescue by attacking these invaders around the clock.

The Immune System  consists of the spleen, thymus, bone marrow, white blood cells, antibodies, complement system (a biochemical cascade that helps clear pathogens from an organism), and hormones.  These assorted cells, tissues and organs work together through a sophisticated network of communication. A breakdown in this communication system results in disease.

Our bodies are protected with innate,
passive and acquired immunity.

Innate immunity is best described as inbuilt protection from birth and is also referred to as natural or inherited immunity. You may ask, “What about inherited diseases?” The answer is that we don't really inherit a disease. What we really are referring to is that these diseases originate from a combination of certain genes that we inherit from our parents. This is what causes us to be susceptible to certain diseases that seem to run in the family or are passed down from one generation to the next.

Passive immunity refers to immunity through antibodies passed from the mother to her baby through the placenta before the baby is born. These antibodies last about the first 6-12 months of the baby's life.

Acquired immunity means you must be exposed to a particular pathogen or "bug" in order to develop an immunity to it.

Acquired immunity is the immunity factor we're most aware of. To acquire an immunity against a particular bug, we may be put out of commission for a while. This could last for as long as two weeks as our bodies build up antibodies against this invader. If you're exposed to the same invader or bug again, your body already has a built-in defense against it. Chicken pox is a good example of how acquired immunity works.

Free Radicals

Of all the cells in your body,  Immune System Cells are the most likely to become victims of a free radical attack. The very act of carrying out their jobs puts them at risk. This is because Immune Cells scavenge free radicals. The impairment of Immune Cells doesn't initially produce symptoms. However, over time, recurrent infections, persistent fatigue, and allergies are often the first signs of immune erosion.

"If free radicals continue their attack on immune cells, and if the cells never get a chance to heal, the accumulated damage weakens the immune system even more. Eventually, this opens a potential Pandora's box of disorders caused by altered immune function...

"Once damaged, an immune cell loses its ability to differentiate between good guys and bad guys. One of two scenarios, neither good, then unfolds. In the first, immune cells mistake friends for foes and begin attacking healthy tissues. This is known as an autoimmune disease, examples of which include lupus, multiple sclerosis, and rheumatoid arthritis. In the second scenario, immune cells mistake foes for friends. For example, they may fail to recognize cancer cells and, rather than annihilating them, ignore them and allow them to multiply.

“Signaling is essential to the development of immunity. 'No one could survive without precise signaling in cells. The body functions properly only because the cells constantly communicate with each other.'” – Scientific American, June 2000  – Smith, Dr. Timothy J., "Defeating Free Radicals: The Key to Longevity," Renewal: The Anti-Aging Revolution, Rodale Press (October 1998), http://www.chiro.org/nutrition/FULL/Defeating_Free_Radicals.shtml

Nutrient Defficiency Causes Immune System Malfunction

Here we get to the heart of the problem. Numerous studies show that nutrient deficiency is the most common cause of immune system malfunction. Health begins at the cellular level, and your body needs the proper nutrition in the proper amounts daily in order to remain healthy. That includes your immune system.

“Health is determined by the function of millions of cells composing the human body. The most frequent cause of cellular malfunction is a chronic deficiency of essential nutrients in the form of vitamins, amino acids, minerals, and trace elements.” --- Wassung, Keith W., “Challenging the Theory of Artificial Immunity,” http://www.scribd.com/doc/2606953/Challenging-the-theory-of-artificial-immunity-doc

Since health begins at the cellular level, and healthy cells require nutrition, your immune system will be healthy if you provide your body with adequate nutrition. Unfortunately, getting all the nutrition your body needs without supplemenatation isn't possible today.

What you eat may not be enough to keep you healthy, especially if your meals come from boxes, bags, cans and bottles. If that's the case, we must add some fresh, raw fruits and veggies to our diets. Right? We also know that if we regularly eat out, order in, or grab a bite to eat at fast-food restaurants, we're on the slippery slope to bad health.

We're told that if we eat “a well-balanced diet” based on the recommendations of the Food Pyramid, we're going to live a life of good health. We all know that nutrition comes from the food we eat. However, the food available to eat today is not as nutritious as it once was—for a variety of reasons, including how it is grown, harvested and processed. It's been shown that over the last several years food has slowly declined in nutritional value and it begins with depleted soil. Inorganic fertilizers, pesticides, green harvesting, irradiation, manufacturing processes, etc., all add to the food problems of today.

Poor Nutrition Causes Poor Health

Poor nutrition is the reason for poor health, including Immune System Malfunction.

Our bodies are strong and meant to survive in a healthy state for many, many years. Not providing the proper nutrition our bodies need puts our health at risk. Without the right nutrition, over time our health begins to fail and disease starts to take hold. Sometimes, diseases can go undetected for years.

We Must Eat ALL of the Nutrition our Bodies Require Every Day
to Have Good Health and Longevity

Since modern food production has stripped our food of six of the eight essential polysaccharides required for cellular life and perfomance, it is clear that it has become impossible to eat all that our bodies require. However, we absolutely must consume all of the nutrition our bodies require in order to maintain or regain optimal health.

All health issues, sydromes, and diseases are a result of the lack of nutrients our bodies require. Without these essential nutrients, our cells begin to degenerate, with less and less ability to perform their assigned functions. The end result is rapid aging, loss of energy, a breakdown in or malfunction in immunity, the onset of metabolic syndromes, and diseases. As mentioned before, the medical community addresses only the symptoms, not the cause, of health issues.

Good health depends on healthy cells, and these depend on good cellular communication. Polysaccharide-peptides are necessare for good cell-to-cell communication...but six of the eight ESSENTIAL saccharides are virtually MISSING from our modern food supply, and therefore from the nutrition our bodies require. Unhealthy cells make unhealthy organs, and unhealthy organs make unhealthy systems; in other words, poor health.
